Student's Union: The Student's Union is encouraged to participate in most of the decision making processes related to them. Students are encouraged to give ideas, innovate support andplay a leading role in a number of academic and administrative activities in the college. For example, the students help in conducting admission to the college at the beginning of the year and give their opinion at the Governing Body meeting. The General Secretary of the Student's Union is an invite member of our Governing Body.

In 2004-05, the Student's Union of the college organized a Blood Donation Camp and the response of the staff and students was very encouraging. Charitable donations were also made by staff and students towards Aids and Thalassaemia affected patients as well as for the physically handicapped and mentally retarded persons.

The students also rose to the occasion to organize and collect relief materials for the Tsunami affected victims and all the proceedings went to the Chife Minister's Relife Fund. The studens showed a tremendous initiativein co-ordinating the entire operation.

Extra Carricular Activities: The Student’s Union is the pivot of all co-curricular and extra-curricular as well as extension activities of the college. Annual elections are held to from its General Body under the supervision of Election Committee framed as per the Constitution of the Students’ Union of the college. The General Secretary of the Students’ Union is the ex-officio member of the Governing Body and a number of Sub-Committees of the college.
