Rules & Regulations

Books of the College Library are lent under the following condition:

1. Any student who takes books from any library without permission or cuts pages out of library books exposes himself to the gravest penalties. Once a student has accepted a book, he is responsible for it. Let him therefore carefully check each book which he takes out to see whether it is in satisfactory condition.

2. No marks or inscription of any kind be made in any kind be made in any book of the library. Offenders will be fined in proportion to the damage done.

3. Books lost must be replaced.

4. All books may be called in at the Librarian’s discretion.

Reading Room

The Reading Room contains textbooks and standard reference books on all subjects taught in the College. Suggestion for additions to the Library may be submitted through the Librarian who keeps a special register for that purpose.

The Reading Room is open every weekday, from 5.00 P.M. to 9.00 P.M.

No Books or Magazines may ever be removed from the Reading Room.
Books are issued on presentation of the Student’s Library Card which will remain in the library as long as the book is in use.

Library Deposit & Maintenance Charges

Rs.100.00 for Regular Students (for Home issue cards) (Rs.50.00 refundable).

Library Special Card

After filling up University Form willing student of 2nd and 3rd year can issue Special Library card (deposit Rs.100.00, Rs.50/- refundable). They can borrow book as usual till University final examination. Defaulters shall have to pay a fine of 0.10 p. per day till the date of return.
Transfer/College Leaving Certificate Fee – Rs.30/-
Admission Cancellation Fee : Rs. 150.00
